Shelbyville Logo I created. Photographed truck, logo design in Photoshop and finished in Illustrator.
A new creative piece I'm working on for a company called "The Skinny Lumberjack." Playing around with designs to creative a playful rustic charm. This one is currently my favourite. I love the way the mountains look on the wood. Below are some more of my ideas and brainstorms. I love the potential some of the ideas have but may be better suited for other pieces.
A mock up piece I created for a possible Teacher site theme. Playing around with deign, HTML, Dreamweaver and User Experience.
You can download my design above.
The main idea of this teacher site theme was to create something visually appealing as well as something many teachers would be interested in using. I created each element in Photoshop (including the illustrations) using a Cintiq Wacom tablet and built and edited the site using Dreamweaver.
I have left it in an unfinished state as it was merely an exercise for me and not one with the intention of creating a polished product in the end.
The dissected frog on the right links to other pages. I felt it gave visual interest and engages learning and memorization through repetition of use.
I had thought it would be interesting to create a Reddit style community forum for the students to engage in discussion and increase the user experience (I did not include this in my mock up). I feel the intent of a teacher site is to engage learning and participation as apposed to being a holding cell for notes from the teacher. Students need to be engaged and user experience would be paramount to the success of a site like this.
Another oldie that I didn't transfer to my blog,
Created this for an artistic engineer. Integrating technical drawing into logo.
Welcome to my site!
Some of the work featured are sketches and studies that I'm working on. Some designs/illustrations are a little more resolved than others, some are a little more ridiculous than others. Some are completed pieces I wanted to share.
